EMRACING DEATH & DYING.

Subud Centre, Lewes, E Sussex. 75 pounds An interactive workshop open to all, exploring our relationship with death and dying in a supportive environment. An opportunity to give voice to all those thoughts and feelings about death, and to ask the questions that we may have been afraid to ask.
• Building awareness, skills and confidence in the area of death and dying.
• Supporting those around us who may be engaged with this in their lives.
This experiential workshop will be of interest to professionals and volunteers working in this field. It is a stand alone workshop and is part of a continuing series on this subject. CPD certificates will be issued.
HERMIONE ELLIOTT has a background in nursing, midwifery, palliative care, counselling and training. She has specialised in the holistic approach to cancer and burnout for the last 25 years, and runs the Imagework training in both Britain and Japan. Her book Gan no serufu Hiringu, a self help guide for cancer patients was published in Japan in 1993 and 97. She is the founder and director of Living Well Dying Well and is passionate about supporting people practically, emotionally and spiritually at the end of life.
BRIAN GRAHAM has been working in a therapeutic context for more than 25 years. Currently he teaches on transpersonal psychology training programmes both in London and Sweden. He also works as a therapist and clinical supervisor in private practice, and as clinical supervisor for the Counselling Service team at Canterbury University. He is particularly interested in our relationship with life and death and finding purpose and meaning on our life’s journey.
